PC-FasType - Quick HELP Facility -- Keyboard Helpers Menu
The Keyboard Helpers Menu lets you select various options affecting
the screen displayed keyboard and to 'toggle' them ON or OFF.
Each press of a function key reverses the previous setting of the
option. If it's ON you'll turn it OFF, if it was OFF you'll turn it ON.
Each typing helper keeps its setting throughout all the drills and
exercises that you select. They're not reset unless you change them or
restart PC-FasType.

The KEYBOARD HELPERS Menu selections are described as follows:
** Begin Typing ---------------- F10 **
Displays the Screen Keyboard and lets you begin typing any drill or
exercise you selected.
** HELP! Facility --------------- F1 **
Call up the Quick HELP Facility for PC-FasType.
** Quiet Mode ------------------- F2 **
When QUIET mode is turned ON (check-marked), all PC speaker sounds
will be suppressed; when it is turned OFF (no checkmark), all
speaker sounds will be available.
** Hidden Keys ------------------ F3 **
When this feature is turned ON, all of the typeable letters and
characters on the screen keyboard keycaps will disappear. During
drills, the character you have to type will pop up on its displayed
keycap. During exercises, the delayed prompt will cause the key to
pop up after a short period of time has elapsed.

** Outline HOME Keys ------------ F4 **
When this feature is turned on, boxes will be drawn around the ASDF
and JKL; "home" keys to help you find where to place the tips of
your fingers. This feature is very desirable for use with the
Hidden Key option.
** 'BEEP' Keystroke Errors ------ F5 **
This option enables a sound to emitted from the speaker when you
make a typing mistake. You can turn this feature ON or OFF.
Normally it's on.
** Align Finger Positions ------- F6 **
This option draws vertical lines on the screen displayed keyboard to
separate the keys each finger controls during typing.

** Word Wrap During Exercises --- F7 **
If you want more practice using the ENTER key during exercises, you
can turn Word Wrap OFF. This will cause a symbol to be placed at
the end of each line for you to type - this symbol represents the
ENTER KEY, and you must press it to move the cursor to the first
character of the next line. With Word Wrap turned ON, which is the
normal setting, the symbol will not appear, so you can type either
the ENTER key for a carriage return, or simply press the space bar.
Whichever character you type will be counted as one keystroke.
** Reset Keyboard Helpers ------- F8 **
This feature RESETS all keyboard helpers previously set ON or OFF
using the Keyboard Helpers Menu. One exception, QUIET Mode will NOT
be turned OFF if you earlier set it ON.

** Change Drill Count ----------- F9 **
This selection will display a pop-up dialog box asking you to type
in a new drill count. It sets the number of characters you will
have to type during any drill selected from the Beginner Drills
Menu.
** Return to Previous Menu ------ <- **
Display the previous menu which is the Advanced Exercises Menu.
** Display MAIN Menu ------------ -> **
This selection re-displays PC-FasType's Main Menu.
